Fight Club + 3 earlier classes. Long afternoon in the Dojo today. Time well spent, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Working with the kids and bonding a bit will make it just that much easier when I take a class for Blackbelt requirements later on. Then had Fight Club, it was us three adults and 3 of the team kids.

Had them do foot work drills and shooting drills, then got in a ton of fights and tried to make them work on footwork. Did some point sparring at the end.

They worked hard.

Self Defense today. We started off with kicks, drilled them like normal. I felt pretty good with my kicks today, plenty of good energy and I felt pretty spry.

After kicks/warmup we paired off and drilled self defense. We worked primarily on 4th – 6th set and just drilled them over and over. Still have plenty of work to get these really flowing for the videos but it was a big step.

Noon class today was Basics. We started off with basic kicks, 3 of each. In between he held plank(s) for 30 & 45 seconds. Then did the other side on kicks, then held plank for 60 seconds. We then did med ball partner tosses in 2, 3 & 4 mat distances. Then went straight into a short then long Basics session, drilling all the basics we know. Good class and I did pretty well.
