Chapter 5: Forge Mental Toughness

Read that chapter to take a deep dive into how you can utilize the tactics Mark shares with us how to get a handle on your mental tougness.

Making excellence a habit by focusing on excellence habits. This is possibly my most favorite way to reframe or frame changing who you are and what you do.

Mark works with you to practice breathing for self-control. Using breath to counter balance all the uncomfortable-ness and bad-ness you may experience in the world. Not only that but learning to ‘listen to your gut’ so you can intercept your emotions and control it a bit better.

There’s much more to this chapter too, honestly if you don’t read any other parts of this book, focus on this one. It helps you break apart your anxiety or what can be giving you anxiety and puts it back together again. Reframed and ready to take it on head first.

Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go.
