Day 84
Private Lesson: Had a great private lesson with Sensei this morning. Drilling kata and tweaking things. Taigo 1 (just footwork), Taigo 2, Taigo 3, Pinan 1 and Bo 1. Hard work and had some great conversation to start the day as well.
A running theme for me is “Calamity springs from carelessness” though. I felt like I was taking the session seriously but I made some pretty carless mistakes that would have cost me dearly in a rank test.
I’ll continue to drill these kata on my own then schedule two other private lessons as we get closer to rank test so I make sure i’m doing things correctly and working on focus.
